Happy New Year Maangchi. I arrived in Busan on New Years eve by ferry from Japan. South Korea is amazing. We have been eating beautiful hot dishes washed down with icy cold beer. We also had an earthquake scare from Japan yesrerday but all seems well. Looking forward to making a fresh batchbof your traditional kimchi recipe when I get home. It’s a favourite of my family and friends. Thank you for sharing your recipes, life and kindness. Don’t stop!! ♥️

Happy New Year, Maangchi! I just wanted to let you know that you are a healing presence in my life. I found your channel when I was recovering from surgery last year, and watching you cook was absolutely life giving - I love your food, and watching you eat it always makes me smile. Please stay happy, and stay well. May 2024 bring you everything you desire, and challenge you in the best ways.

P.S. Your Pa-khimchi and Kakdukki recipes are in regular rotation in my home now. Also, we grew mung bean sprouts your way, and now we're never without some in our fridge!
